Since the 1980's, when I started writing articles for the Midland Bank Review, I have written many articles on a freelance basis for publication in a variety of newspapers, magazines, journals and newsletters, on a variety of subjects. In recent years I have mainly written about travel.. I currently write the weekly 'Skiddaw U3A News' for local papers in Cumbria. I am just updating my site and hope to include some examples of my work here. I am happy to undertake writing commissions by arrangement.
